THE EFFECT OF LOCKDOWN

Companies right across the home improvement market have seen surges in website visitors since the start of lockdown in March, from Kitchen and Interior designers through to CCTV companies. More time at home means more time to spend search the web. A new Aviva study believes that 85% of UK residents have undertaken home improvement activities during the lockdown period, with the likes of discount retailer B&M reporting a near 23% jump in gardening products in the first 8 weeks of lockdown.

With so many ‘stuck’ at home it makes sense that many have looked at ways to keep their gardens in perfect condition year round; and so many homeowners across the West Midlands have chosen Artificial Grass – a hassle free option compared to traditional lawns. Artificial lawns no longer look like the astroturf sports fields of the 80’s and can create a perfect illusion of a real lawn due the varied heights, thickness and shades of the yarn.
