Typical maintenance for an artificial turf involves regular cleaning to eliminate fallen leaves and such-like debris, and disinfection to remove stains from the surface of the turf and to prevent the growth of moss and algae.
Environmentally Friendly
It would not be appropriate to conclude a discussion on the huge benefits of astro turf / artificial grass without mentioning that the use of these turfs is good for the environment. This is seen in a number of ways. For one, artificial turfs do not harbour harmful pests, and as such there is no need for using harmful chemical pesticides on the turf. This is in addition to the fact that artificial turfs are great for water conservation.
